What we collect

When you subscribe, we store your email address, signup source, campaign attribution, referral information and optional watch interest. Buyer, seller, trade, collection, dealer, valuation and product-research forms also store the information you submit, such as watch preferences, price comfort and fit information.

Private seller evidence

When you open a seller case, the evidence room may store watch photographs and supporting watch or service documents in private object storage. Do not upload government identification, payment details, passwords or an unobscured full serial number. Evidence is not published or added to search pages.

Why we use it

We use this information to send requested updates, improve the site, measure which guides are useful, respond to requests and evaluate a potential watch transaction. We do not sell personal information.

Email and partners

Email delivery may be provided by Beehiiv. Qualified transaction requests are shared only when a relevant partner is available, the request calls for an introduction and the owner has opted in. Commercial relationships are disclosed. Evidence is not shared merely because it was uploaded.

Your choices

Every delivered newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also request access, correction or deletion by replying to a Watch Ledger email. Removing a file from the evidence room marks it deleted and removes the private object.

Device-local access token and watchlist

The private seller-case access token, free watchlist and decision statuses are stored in this browser. The token is not placed in the evidence-room URL. First-party measurement may record the reference slug, action and list count, but not private file contents.

Measurement

We record first-party interaction events and campaign parameters. We keep the data limited to what is needed to understand performance and operate the service.
